The house part

We signed the contract for the Lindeman 23.It is not a huge house, but it would be perfect for us.3 bedrooms,master with ensuite and WIR, a child retreat,living room, dining area and a perfect sized kitchen for me:).The bonus is the outdoor area, it is under the main roof.
We had our tile, electronical and colour appointments.Had a little bit of upgrade,but we were really happy with the builders standard selection range.(not so happy with the price of the upgraded items)I guess that is what happens when you don't have a lot of money to build.

House&land Contract

Well, it is time to start our blog.We are building our first home.
Something about us: We are a normal family (or not so normal), mum, dad and a 3 years old boy, living on the Gold Coast for 5 years now.We moved here from Europe, (actually we did't move together, we met on the internet while I was living in America and that nice guy was here ).We did lots of things together, but actually this will be our first major project.(or maybe I should say second, as we have a son together ):)
About 2 month ago we decided to search for something affordable to build (or buy).A month ago we have found the perfect house and land package.It is from Stockland, and Metricon.We always wanted to build with them, because we love the quality of their homes and those beautiful displays.2 weeks ago we signed all the contracts.
Our land settlement was just before Christmas, (23/12) so we are ready to build!!!
